What is this index?
A distribution of the 37 checked rows in our sample, not the partner‘s full catalog. It shows where the sample sits by price band and category.
Why is the median more useful than the average?
A single $94 jacket pulls the mean up. The median tells you what a typical row costs in this sample.
Does a low price mean a good deal?
No. A cheap item can carry the same freight floor as an expensive one. Compare the landed cost, not just the tag.
How often is it updated?
With the product sample, every 45 days, or sooner if a card is replaced. The checked date is shown on the page.
