Shipping · the bill before the quote

Kakobuy shipping, before you commit.

The product price is the smallest number in a cross-border order. Freight is billed on a weight you can calculate, plus fees that are easy to forget. Start with the weight.

No rates are prefilled. The tool shows the weight the line will bill; the partner estimator shows the price.

The shoebox adjustment is illustrative; a real listing has its own packed dimensions.

Misreads

Five shipping mistakes that cost money

Pricing the item, not the parcel

A $15 item can carry a $30 freight floor. Add the parcel before you decide.

Ignoring volume

A puffer jacket is light and huge. Volumetric weight can double the bill.

Removing the box by default

It saves volume and removes protection. Decide per item.

Forgetting the last mile

Some lines hand off to a local carrier with its own fee or delay.

Assuming a coupon covers freight

Most codes discount the item or a specific line, not the whole bill. Read the discount row.

Questions

Five questions about shipping

What is chargeable weight?

The weight a line bills: the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. A light, bulky parcel is billed on volume.

What divisor should I use?

Ask the line. Many use 6000; some use 5000. A lower divisor produces a higher volumetric weight. Our calculator lets you switch so you can see the difference.

Does removing the shoebox help?

Often, because it reduces volume. It can also remove protection. Decide per parcel, not by default.

Are the transit times on this page guaranteed?

No. They are typical ranges published by carriers and agents; they change. Confirm the current estimate on the partner page before you pay.

Why is there no price table?

Because freight changes weekly by line, weight band, destination and season. A static table would be wrong within days. The page teaches the structure; the partner estimator gives the quote.

Take the weight to the quote

The estimator is the only place a current price exists. This page gets you ready for it.
