Four questions about the converter
What does this tool actually do?
It extracts the item ID from a Weidian, Taobao or 1688 URL and opens the partner search for that ID. It does not rewrite the link into a checkout link.
Why not call it a “buy link” converter?
Because the partner does not expose a link-rewrite endpoint. Calling it a converter would promise something the tool cannot do. It converts a link into a searchable ID.
Does it work with short links?
No. Short links hide the ID behind a redirect. Open the link first, then copy the final URL or the ID.
Is my link sent anywhere?
No. Parsing happens in your browser. The only network request is the partner search you open yourself.
