The median is more useful than the average here, because one $94 jacket pulls the mean up. But even the median is only a sample of twelve; it is not the index median.
The number that matters for a haul is the landed cost, which adds freight, fees and duty. A $15 tee and a $50 hoodie can end up closer than you expect once the parcel is priced.

How were these 12 chosen?
One card per category and price band, with a preference for items we could verify with a 200 image and a 200 product page. It is a sample, not a ranking.
Why is the price in USD and CNY?
The partner lists in CNY and shows a USD conversion. Both are reference prices. The landed cost adds freight, fees and possible duty.
Do you update the cards?
Yes, every 45 days. Each card shows the checked date. If an image or product page fails, the card is replaced or removed before the next build.
Can I filter by brand?
The filters here use category and price. Brand shelves live under /brands/, where each page has its own sample and notes.
