Field dictionary · not a template
Kakobuy spreadsheet columns, explained one by one.
Column names vary. Functions do not. This is the dictionary: what each field is for, what it can prove, and what it quietly leaves out.
The eight fields
A dictionary, not a checklist
| Field | Typical label | Read it for | Trust level | What it omits |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Link | Link / URL / item | Whether the item exists | High if 200 | Seller reliability |
| Title | Name / product | What it is called | Medium | Material, fit, batch |
| Price | Price / CNY | A reference price | Medium | Freight, fees, duty |
| Weight | Weight / g | Freight planning | Low–medium | Packed dimensions |
| Batch | Batch / version | What to ask about | Low | Origin, authorization |
| QC | QC / check | Condition evidence | Medium | Material, durability |
| Stock | Stock / status | Whether to hurry | Low | Restock date |
| Notes | Notes / remark | The caveat | Variable | Anything the editor missed |
One line
The same row, three readings
Beginner
“Nike hoodie, $49, size M.” Enough to browse, not enough to buy.
Reader
“Nike hoodie, $49.85, 800 g estimate, QC asks for tag and chest.” Enough to compare.
Buyer
“Nike hoodie, $49.85, 800 g, size M, chest 110 cm, tag requested, freight floor applies.” Enough to decide.
What is missing
The four fields most sheets leave out
Weight alone cannot predict volumetric billing. Without L×W×H, a light puffer looks cheap.
A price without a date is a rumour. Ask when it was checked.
“QC” is a status; a link is evidence. The best sheets link to the set.
“Runs small”, “box missing”, “print slightly off”. The note is where the editor tells the truth.
Questions
Four questions about columns
Which column should I read first?
The link. If it does not work, the rest of the row is decoration. Then price and weight.
Why is the QC column often vague?
Because QC is a set of photos, not a single status. A good sheet links to the set or names the check; a bad one writes “QC” and moves on.
What is the notes column for?
The caveat. “Size runs small”, “box missing”, “price checked 2 Nov”. It is the most valuable column when it is honest.
Do all sheets use the same names?
No. One sheet calls it “weight”, another “grams”, another “shipping est.”. The function matters, not the label.
